What I can see in the distance What I cannot see even when it is near What I can see deep within my eyes I sharpen my senses and look. To the sounds I hear in the distance To the sounds bouncing right beside me To the sounds I hear at the center of my body I listen closely and discern their colors. The scents I sense from afar The scents drifting before me The scents remembered deep within my nose I close my eyes and compare them with my memories. I sense a presence, follow the sensations my hands remember, and draw up the vibrations of the ground that I feel beneath my feet. The energies that pull toward one another can sometimes obstruct the path, and at other times guide me in unexpected directions. I live each day feeling these things. What I know for certain that I sense is something like light. It is so very beautiful, radiating a light that stretches endlessly. But I do not know what shape it has, how large it is, or anything about it. That is why I am always searching. I have a very strong desire to realize with my own hands that beautiful light that appears and disappears, and to see it for myself. I also want to show it to someone.
